Post-natal Hair Loss
Causes:
- Due to hormonal changes in the body
- Lack of nutrition
Signs & Symptoms:
- Drastic hair loss 2 to 5 months after child birth
- Very oily and itchy scalp
- Even baby hairs will fall off
Possible Complications:
- If the problem is prolonged for more than 5 months, permanent hair loss may occur
- If not treated, amount of hair lost may reach more than 50%
- In more serious cases, hair is lost in patches
