Causes:

Hormonal changes and lack of appetite which can result in lack of nutrients

Side effects from certain menopausal medications

Body, mental and emotional sensitivity towards changes in the body leading to high stress levels
Signs & Symptoms:

Hair starts thinning, starting from the crown of the head

Dry and weak hair with split ends
Possible Complications:

The problem will worsen if the sufferer has hereditary (genetic) hair loss problem before menopause

If treatment is delayed or wrong medication is taken over a long period of time, the problem will worsen
